Hi
I have an issue with the compact, when I drive it enthusiastically (all legal obviously) the revs jump up when changing gear. Basically, when the clutch is engaged, the revs jump up between 200 - 500 revs then starts to drop. If the car has been driven over 5k revs it can jump up 1k revs. Any ideas? It is starting to do my head in. It is 1 1998 R 1.9.

I was thinking that, I have adjusted it but it still seems to be happening.

the one on the compact ive got sticks some times but only when you start to press the pedal and not when you have it on the floor

I'll check the throttle cable and see if anything looks a bit stiff.

it could be to do with the way it has bee routed i had this troble on my e30 after swaping the engine
