Customer toady was questioning me over BM's as she is looking to replace her Vectra!

She would like a small hatchback, but doesn't like the 1 series, but does like the compact!

So what are the pros n cons if any about the compact diesels? looks like the last ones built are on a 04 plate, so a few gremlins may be hiding away.

Was there just the 2 litre model?

Not sure about the the 3 series, but talking to a chap the other day who has bought a 120d only pays 35 quid a year for road tax, thats a pretty big pro if it's applicable to the 3 series,if it's the same engine it should be.
