Ive been on the look out for a decent e46 touring to replace my e30 touring which deserves a break from ferrying back and fortg from Plymouth to Southampton.
Anyway i came across this at the weekend and drove up yesterday and bought it..pick it up next weekend!
Its a 52 plate 330i sport touring ,Topaz Blue, black leather elec seats, 84k fbmwsh. Its in excellent condition considering its a family wagon..the odd few light scratches but thats about it. Its taken me ages to find the right car..and ive looked at a few!!
Im quite excited!!

I like that, I prefer tthe e46 as oppose to the e36 which many zoners have turned to.

Your going to find that 330i to be quite a ride winkeye

Thanks...i was going to get an e36 touring but i would have been waiting a long time for a good one that meets my requirements to turn. So it was a case of spend a bit more and get something a bit better!
The 330i is what i wanted and it has a bit grunt than my 328i Sport. Wish i could keep the e30 as well but i got to be sensible about these things!!

It looks great mate! Really good choice I think. If you regularly make that journey, do you have a company fuel card or something!?!

lol..a company fuel card would be lovely but fraid not..bit ironic as i work for a major oil company!! I only travel up for my shifts, stay in digs then come home again.
Thanks for your comments..this ticked all my boxes and im glad i held out for the right car. Its a manual which you dont see too many of..most are autos.
Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Most of the larger engined Bmw's are Autos. :( I casually looked on an off for about 6 months for a Manual e34 or e39 touring. As long as you haven't got a lead foot, i'd be suprised if you can't coax 35mpg out of that.

Shame about the fuel card! Perhaps something to ask for on the next promtion :D

Anyhow, looks a great colour combination, black leather on blue with the MV wheels. Private plate included?

Nice one Andy that looks a great spec, manual, black leather, great colour, low miles, right trim etc - perfect.

If I'd had the cash I'd probably have gone for one of these too, they are meant to be great cars.

cheers, simon

32mpg on the motorway is quite possible, above that you have to be a bit of a saint. They're pretty nimble things too.... just be really careful if you ever turn the traction control off ;)

A quaife LSD from Birds (UK Hartge) is the way forward.

Cheers for all the comments guys..think im going to enjoy this one
Jon..the private plate isnt include which is ok as it does nothing for me.
My plans are to fit a set of Eibachs and put the 330 i badge back on the tailgate..and thats about it!
MPG isnt too much of an issue for me..as long as i get a decent return thats similar to other cars ive owned then i shouldnt see much of a hit on my wallet! My 69 mustang mach 1 had a 7 litre V8 which barely got into double figures but you dont buy it if you are frugal!!

Yeah, the E46 is a cracking car - very rapid when you get on it but potters around nicely in town. I get about 34mpg on the motorway and 24mpg day to day. My wife just got a CRV though so there was no point in having two sensible cars.

This is the Mussie - A supercharged V8 with the GT500 bodykit, dynoed at 485bhp. I do weddings with it to cover the running costs. Do you miss yours?

That is lovely, you can't beat a facelift Sport Touring. Stupidly rapid but you can get quite decent mpg on a run.
