whats an e34 525i touring worth

Hi guys,

thinking of buying a e34 touring ive seen a 1995 m reg 525i touring in green with heated black leather interior has 180,000 miles on the clock with bmw history upto 160 its clean has a few minor defects but you would expect that on a 14 year old car what you reckon its worth.

Under £1000 for that sort of milage, plenty of traders flogging them at up to £2000 though

You can pick up 525 tourings with that sort of mileage for what andyp said...

But finding one with heated leather may be harder...However, E34 interiors don't cost a lot, even in leather and black is one of the most common "colours" (I know, black isn't a colour)...

I've been trying to sell my E34 525iX SE manual touring for £900 without a lot of luck, so far...
It doesn't have leather, but it also doesn't have 180K miles!!

The important things on a touring are:
Sunroofs...if it has them, do they work?
Tailgate wiring: how is it.?
Dash display...dead pixels?
E34 in general:
Cooling on M50...water pump changed?
Do the heater valve(s) work properly...the passenger side one often fails "open"
Tourings:
It should have self-levelling suspension...Is it working properly...no leaks from the hydraulics or accumulators...

If everything is working and in good condition, then it may not be a bad buy...Well maintained, the motor will cover 300K...
