dont know if this question is allowed,

but im having problems with my ford ka, it starts perfect when it does but randomly, when you turn the key it lets of an awful scream from the engine.. i think its a starter motor thing. it does it quite often

just wondering what the problem could be?

It sounds like your BMW Ka has either a faulty ring gear - the bit on the engine that the starter engages in or a faulty starter nose - the bit on the starter that engages with the ring gear. I'm going for ring gear and as time goes on the damaged one will likely damage the other till it gets to the point that it won't start at all and you need to replace both.
