Rusty e28 arches How much to repair

Never bother sorting out rust genrally, when you can get solid cars but im well tempted by a e28 just has a rusty arch and abit welding underneath other than that its mint! could one sort it out on a budget whats the process with rusty arch's, expensive???

When I did my M635CSi, I just bought new wings - they were only about £30 each from the dealer. Assuming it's front arches? If it's rear arches, as long as it's not too bad, it shouldn't cost too much to have it cut out and repaired properly.
Front wings:
If you do go that route, just be careful which you buy - there are arches with and without the hole for the indicator repeater. The ones without can be a lot cheaper if you want to cut the whole yourself!

The paint has cracked underneeth the lip on the drivers side rear arch is very very expensive??
