hi just bought a e34 for a runabout its the 24v just wondering if it has a idle control valve(icv) well i think its that.
when i start it from cold it revs to about 2500 revs till its warm. And my mate who drove it to my lock up says it wasn't responding when he accelerated and maybe a misfire?
Any ideas ? still got to drive it my self to check it all out but no tax.

I assume it would have an ICV of some sorts, here is a pic of my engine bay, maybe someone more knowledgable can pinpoint its wherabouts?

I assume it will be something like this:

IIRC the ICV is under the inlet manifold.
