Well not a car but the front bumper of my uncles E39 M5! After just spending almost 8k on MOT and clutch he's quite annoyed! Yes, 8k. Theiving ba**ards
If anyone happens to see someone running around Putney with a LeMans blue E39 M5 bumper under his arm then you know where he got it!
This is what it did look like:
stolen!

He was expecting to pay 5.5 for the MOT. 2 tyres, few sensors etc, ended up being 6.5. God knows how. Got it back then the clutch went - another 1.5-2k (cant remember exactly how much). Took it back got the clutch sorted. Went to pick it up, GPS and Sat Nav had to be re programmed or something so the place he took it had to take it to BMW. Took them 6 weeks from start to finish. Sounds to me like the garage took it for a few days driving to see those tyres off, ruining the clutch.
Some garage under a bridge run by 2 Italians apparently in Putney or very close. Its his own fault he got taken for a ride. Who takes an M5 to 2 Italians under a bridge?! They probably took the bumper.
