E36 LSD How much

I have been given a e36 LSD How much are they worth,

I was thinking off transfering it all into a e30 Diff but the higher drive on the 320 would make it slower than it alredey is I would think?

Would it be somthing some one would swop for a e30 one or are thay comen as Muck?

No they fetch good money same as e30 ones. £250 is about average. What ratio is it, what car did it come out of?

ive read they arnt as common as e30 diffs and can fetch really good money some going as high as £450 deppending on the ratio

Small case ones can fetch that cause they are hens teeth. Medium case are standard on m3 3.0s and early sports and what size most e36 have. Large case are evo only which means your only market for them is people who already own them.

Thanks Guy's, it came out off a 328 touring I think, I will have a proper look at it when I get it.

Will probably be a 2.91:1 drive as thats what 328's use. Most common medium case that comes up for sale for e36s tbh. Still fetch £250 if working ok.
