As above but add fuel tank and brake lines. The one I bought as a donor also had an entertaining habit of leaping to the left when changing up when, erm,'pressing on?'

No,plastic tank, but it leaked when over half full,or half empty if you are a pessimist...did not bother with it as I was breaking the thing anyway...Andyboy ended up sticking a centre punch into the lower L/H corner so that I could rescue the last three gallons!! I reckoned the handling trick was axle carrier bushes, the thing really should not have passed it's last MoT,brake lines were in a shocking state.Engine's sweet, thoughDanThe wrote:Rear axle mount bushes most likely, ive only ever seen plastic fuel tanks on E34's Malcolm, was yours a steel? front arches and wing bottoms.jacking points on sills and also rear of sills.inner sill at front as sunroof drain goes into sill.mine is holed but outer sill still ok.fuel pipes under car.most rust seems to be localised as some parts are galvanised.

fuel lines rot like a bitch, and the old beast I owned used to love to dump petrol onto the exhaust, used to pull to the left, steering was shot, O/S wiper arm being chewed off by the bonnet, but otherwise fairly solid, I don't think they actually rot too badly really compared to other cars, just if it has been neglected everyting else on the car turns to shite

Finally promoted to Regular! Only took 7 years...
