cam cover gasket

after spotting a bit of oil dribbling down the side of the engine i thought i would change the cam cover gasket as it has not been done as far as i could see.
well, after getting to the gasket i could plainly see it badly needed doing as it was so hard it did not bend it just snapped! same with the spark plug gasket i had to dig it out with a screw driver.
so a word of warning if any of you dont see any record of this work being done or doing it yourself recently it would be a good idea to do it as the loss of oil could amount to quite alot if left unchecked!!!

Just for the record I replaced mine with an ECP set earlier this year, it started leaking again after about 2 months :roll:

Dealer set is about £20 which ive never had a problem with

now there's a suprise a ECP gasket not doing its job properly after a couple of months

ECP are the last supplier I ever entertain these days. They just seem to sell shite!
