This guy is stating that he didn't sell the wheel to me. He states that he has given his password out to a "mate" and that i should take it up with them. Yeah right! You gave your password out, therefore you should chase him.

i had given my password to him while i went away so that he could sell my car. my mate doesnt have a paypal account so hes sent it to his girlfirends account. as i explained above this is how i knew who it was. if you want to phone me and discuss this thats fine, as i have nothing to hide im going through old posts to see if anythig else has gone wrong

id say thats not good enough, youve given out your details to someone to sell your car on your behalf, that means that someone is someone you trust so its your responsability to refund any cash nessessary and not anyone elses job to chase up your mate.Doddy wrote:i had given my password to him while i went away so that he could sell my car. my mate doesnt have a paypal account so hes sent it to his girlfirends account. as i explained above this is how i knew who it was. if you want to phone me and discuss this thats fine, as i have nothing to hide im going through old posts to see if anythig else has gone wrong

Rather defeats the point of having a password, would,nt you say ?.
Not judging your honesty Doddy, but as fuzzy states, you gave it out, you should bear responsobility.

so the parts were yours and were sold from your user account by someone else that you gave your details to?
refund the man its your problem to sort out not their problem to chase your mate who was acting on your behalf.

in case you havent read im chasing my mate so either way i will refund his money as i understand its my responsibilityfuzzy wrote:so the parts were yours and were sold from your user account by someone else that you gave your details to?

shall we start from the beginning if you didnt understand.
i had a 320i forsale as you might have seen a number of months ago, while i went away thus leaving a friend of mine in charge to sell my car.
he then decided to purchase the said car from me then proceded to put it back forsale a couple of months later when i went away again, but he took some other parts off the car to sell seperatly and had some obvious problems which im now trying to sort.
i really didnt have to bother trying to sort it as some many people dont, but im not that sort of person.
i understand that it was a stupid thing to do but when you trust someone then i cant see what the problem is.
i also understand many people have an opinion on this matter but comments like 'jesus are you 12' arent what i need right now

i can vouch for doddy as an honest, decent bloke. he's not a mate or anything and i don't really know him from adam in that respect tbh, but i can only speak from personal experience of my purchase from him. he was polite, honest, patient and very helpful. i was very grateful. he has offered his phone no., his "mate"s phone no. and said he is willing to speak to those currently unsatisfied. maybe now he's back in england he could be allowed a day or two to sort everyone out to their satisfaction. we all hope so, for the integrity of the zone, as much as anything else. hindsight is a wonderful thing and i'm sure he has learned from this experience. i look forward to reading of a satisfactory conclusion (even though it has nothing to do with me and i'm just trying to help).

That explains a bit, but your 'mate' is fucking you over as well as people on here, selling bits under your name to multiple people! He needs a clip round the earhole I think.
