the e34 is going to weigh like a elephant, its a 5 series executive tourer... and weight is everything on a track.
stripped out e36 would be my bet...

I had a 535i Sport which stuck to the track like Glue (had Bilstein Suspension)and was getting late 1 minute 30's ( car was full road condition not stripped out) around Donnington tried a mates 328i coupe (e36) and was getting late 1 minute 20's so go for the E36

E34's need short Bilsteins, decent springs and Sport anti roll bars. The E36 is a LOT better.

e36 is much better round a track. E34 is great fun for the dosh though and skids nicely.

Although I should be biased, go for the E36 it should always be better !!

Gone, but not forgotten !!
