hi: guys

my daily hack is a 93 730 v8...today whilst driving on motorway light came on dash saying TRANS PROGRAM when i switched the car off it said check owners manual....i started it after a 10 mins and it was ok

any help welcome cause my owners manual says go to dealer 8O

maybe a fault with the transmission ecu

more than likely its low on oil causing slip which then brings that up. cheapest option is change the auto box oil and filter and see how it goes from there... IMO
