That car is just so wrong... the E28 is a car from the 80s
If he in other hand used an E12 from the 70s who is a good old classic, then it would be cool! :D

Well if you carn't beat it (rust), then join it :D It's pretty good, the bonnet looks ok but i'd be pissed off getting me hands/clothes rusty every time i accidently rubbed past it of had to get in the engine bay :?

Rusty bonnet rightness, I think it looks trick!

There's a bloke in france who makes resonator guitars all rusty then somehow lacquers over the finish, they look awesome, and big £££.

its a rat"euro" look ive seen a e30 ratted and does look nice,
and yes it would be laquared, there is a way of doing it, bare meatal but with some kind of adative that makes it surface rust and you also get the swirls and pattarns etc then its laqaured which penertrats the surface rust encapuslating the rust particals in simple it gets under the rust and the laqure sits under and on top of the rust so the rust therefore no longer is touching the metal and the bare meatal is then sealed due the the lacquer thats been put on :eek: wow that was complicated to explain

Thats almost cool but a bit too 'try hard' for a great rat look car. That shit on the roof rack is naff -looks like a bloody still life.

I really like the whole euro rat thing, but I really don't get the rusty bonnet thing, it looks out of place, especially when the rest of the car is clean. Matt black the lot, that's what I say!

The e28 is my fav 5 series....maybe my fav BMW! An M5 or an Alpina B10 are really cool,but only without the awful 80s bodykits!

Laquer the hood. Killer wheels. Quick release roof rack for trackdays. Can't hang a bumper to save a life though. With the green he goes for a more extreme contrast doesn't he...

i quite like it but as bmwsport said it would annoy the hell out of me constantly getting covered when you go near it.
