anyone know the history of them? which cars they came on, what period etc. I cant find out anything about them!

Hello, first of all give is an explenation of what it is, but okay, I found out there is an alloy wheel with the name MIM 1900 (thank god for Google)
So back to your question, I dont know so much about them, tbh very little but after what I know is that they are Italian and is been used by VAG and BMW fans. MIM is still active in Italy making alloy wheels and they are based in the city Castegnato. MIM 1900 looks for me like an alloy from the late 80s, mostly used on Golfs and BMWs E30s and other populare cars from that periode. Because they are not German they was not on the option list for German cars (like BBS) so this is like buying Momo alloys to your E36 to an example.

yep, a retro after fit wheel which looks superb on the E30

Infact certainly my favourite wheel for the E30

yeah I'd figured that much 78dude! like e30beemerlad i also think they are nicest wheel for an e30 but was a bit curious as to why there isnt much info on them on t'interweb.
