gearbox's sequentail and steptronic

can anybody tell me what cars if any bmw made with a sequential box and what cars came with steptronic box's. Preferably with the paddle shift?

Bear with me here,the E36 M3 evo had a SMG box,(sequential manual gearbox) along with the E46 M3. The E39,5 series,E46 3 series,E38 7 series all had the steptronic unit.

I think only the E46 M3 had paddleshift,however i have seen a kit to make the steptronic box work with paddles,although it is no-where near as quick shifting as the E46 unit in the M3.
