Cheers!

Don't want to do much really, refresh the suspension, new shocks with eibach springs, evo lip spoiler on the front and a HID conversion.

It's a 328i touring, they only made the sport touring in a 323i, but this one is a very well optioned one. Always wanted one with the kit etc, but knew if I bought a 323i, I would always have wished I'd bought a 328i instead.

Mark, these wheels are nice, but get the wider ones.

Simon what size and width and tyres are you running then.... I was going to go for the 8.5 x 17 with 225/45 rubber...

Mark, these ones are 8x17 with 225/45 Avon ZV3. Bought them new from e-bay.

Try and get the wider ones, with more rim.

I have to be careful with widths, the E28 is not the most accomodating of large rims !

with the right et , 9 J x 17 will be fine on the rear, but watch your clearance to the suspension/spring set leg.

A previous owner of mine was running 8x17s on the front and 10x17s on the rear with really stretched 225/45/17s on the back...not sure if I can go any wider.

Still got this wagon!

Not much to update really, it's only done 15k in my ownership, had it since March 2007.

Have done a couple of upgrades recently..

Phillips blue vision sidelight bulbs..

Astra rear wiper, and led number plate lights..

Also had a cleanout of the circulation system, was fed up of seeing mayo under the oilcap, lots of cold starts probably haven't helped..

Next plans are new shocks and springs.

All that mayo looks like a blown head gasket???? Or is this common on the 2.8?

Nope, as I said above, the system gets gunked up from lots of cold starts/short journeys.

Cleaned it all out, no mayo anymore, and it has improved the drivability too.
