That's a nice ride & not so far away from me either.

Time to try & convince myself (& the wife) we can afford to run around in a 4.4 V8, lol

Shouldnt be to bad, I drive a 530i with a V8 for my every day car and I dont complain so much tbh... Just the sound of the V8 makes you buy it!

The 4.4 V8 was in the E39 (M62) it was a 4.0 in the E34 (M60)

4 grand for a 14 year old twice obsolete 18 mpg BMW? Shop around and 4 bags will get a 1999-2000 E39 if not newer - these cars are just unwanted. It's some E34 540i that makes more than £1100 these days.

Supposedly it needs 2k to put it right
E34 x 1 - V8 + lots of CF
E30 x 2 - Tourings (1 x M50, 1 x M40)
RS6 C5 - Stage 1 remap - 500bhp
