Chaps,
I've been offered a 93' 320i saloon for much cheapness. Is the legroom in the rear better than an E30 4 door / touring ?
I need a 2nd car as having the child's seat behind my drivers seat is not at all comfortable !!
Cheers
George

Rear legroom in an E36 is still fairly abysmal IMO. There's a bit more floorspace but the design of the front seats mean you can't get your feet under the back of them like in the E30. Rear headroom is better than an E30 but still not great.

E36 is longer/wider than E30,most goes into the rear seat area.BMW were slated in the press from E21 for poor rear seat area/access so built a 4 door E30 to improve things.E46 is better still in this respect.Nothing like an E30 from the driver's seat,though..George,look at roam '09,please...
