Just been offered an E46 2.5i engine. Any good ?

I've just been offered a 2.5i petrol engine from an E46 ( year 2000 ). I've no idea of the condition as yet, but assuming all's well, is £150 a decent price ?

Well, sod that for a game of soldiers. I havn't the time or patience to strip the bugger down, and if it's too complex to drop into my own beast then I won't bother.
