im in australia and drove a nice old m535 today, silver, '86.
i just need to know if there are adjustable tappets in this engine or shims?
also, a single tick on each revolution of the engine, would that be tappets?
the engine is strong, pulling all the way through the rev range, with a healthy note and no smoke.
the body isnt fantastic, but there isnt much rust and its straight.
interior is great.
does anybody know of an internet site where you can enter the vin and get specs? or do u have to go to a dealer?
