Just wondered if the rust described would be symptomatic of worse rust that is out of sight?

I always worry when rust appears in a place that is not on a panel, like a pillar.

Trust me, that is minor cosmetic stuff. Structurally it's perfect - it had new front wings, the inner wings are mint and the sills were all done 2 years ago and the guy made a fantastic job - proper seam welding, no pigeon shyte.
I reckon £300 to pop the screen out, grit blast the rust, fill and repaint. Henna red is a good colour to match too.

Not sold yet as DVLA haven't sent the V5 back. But I just sold a J plate 320i for £825. It was a nicer car with FSH but a 318i is a better seller. It'll make £700.
