Got some more done today, changed the rear springs, however they didnt take the car down any lower, so i then cut a coil off and i will look tomorrow to see how its settled,

I reckon i will be putting the original springs back on[Mtec], the front needs to come down a long way yet.

Put some Tupperware on the rear.

It's looking good Chris, solid is the key with these things. Mine is a solid one too, a good number of them are hanging. It was key for me to find a decent shell, like yours mine has a few bumps and scrapes and Ray Charles paintwork but it is solid where it counts. I got it up in the air and had a thorough poke around before spending any money it. When funds allow it will get a nice doors off glass out respray, hopefully next year.

Nice, I prefer the E28 without the kit.

Just needs some white stripes on the seats though!

Those Alpina spoilers go for strong money, and so does the M5 spoiler i took off, as for a drop ive been given contact details of a firm in Chichester who can make me some Hartge rated springs.

Im gonna see what the Mtec spoller looks like on first, i can see this turd turning into a bit of a cream puff. :D

I think that's what he meant, E34 ones are bolt on...

It's coming along then Chris  I have the Hartge rated springs from Faulkners on mine and they work fine for me.

Exactly, move on the M5 and the one in the kit- actually sell on the entire kit and the M5 front- and purchase a lovely Alpina one. It's the right choice, you know this deep down...

Don't forget you'll have to move the Hartges on also to make way for some suitable rims to go with the Alpina front you'll end up getting winkeye

I have to agree, I was thinking i wanted an M535 but i think i prefer the chromie look with an alpina chin, coupled with the right wheels they dont need anything else. Im going to have to get on with buying one.

There's a guy round my way with one of these E28's (same colour) and he's running a set of style 32's,
the dished ones like this, you can get them in 17" and 18" flavour.

Worth a thought :)
