Rubbish, the ebay one I posted is definately better. The white one is nice but not as nice...
Well ,as i have no intention of owning, bidding or travelling to see either my thoughts are entirely irrelevant.
Stii prefer the white one .(in the pre track pic)

15k is a hell of a lot of cash for that ebay car and my money would be on it staying where it is unless the seller takes it sub 10k.
My point exactly Jules, i have owned my M5 for 6 years (you've seen it on the back of a trailer Spadge), enjoyed every minute of ownership, it has done 188,000 miles, needs new front wings, n/s rear quarter, and a respray (looks can be deceiving), it's value now is probably 4-5 grand, so why not enjoy it? Even if i threw 4 grand at the body work it would struggle to reach 7 grand with that mileage, so i intend to enjoy it instead
I remember it well mate and it still looks fantastic track car or not
Fair play to you for not just treating it as an ornament and actually driving the thing in anger
What enjoyment can actually be had from just polishing a car and then rolling it back into the garage has always baffled me
Have a nice Christmas and don't let the usual suspects wind you up

M5 E28 is a rare car these days and the price, yes its a lot of money indeed, but for the right customer who want the first M5 and have the cash to pay for it.... Why not!

I've driven it - it's probably the best one left. No 186 was supposed to be the last RHD but 187 was custom built for the Big Cheese of BMW GB. By the time it was completed the E34 was out and Big Cheese didn't want an 'old shape' car.
It's worth £25-30'000 to a collector. It has a fully leather trimmed boot and a custom twin level rear shelf sound system.

By which time it would need 24valves to give it an equal power to weight ratio of the M535i

E30 M3 Unichip Alpha N style conversions, this is the ultimate for extracting the best out of your S14 M power car.
Also, Live mapping of your Standard Motronic ECU for optimising all your modifications.

I like E28s. But this horribly overpriced and has the second worst colour combination. It would almost be better if the exterior and interior colours were reversed imo.

Has to be one of the best color combo's going for an E28/E30/E34. Bettered only by dark metalic blue paintwork
