im near portsmouth in hampshire, south coast.
ahhhh, i'll have a look 2morrow at work to see what the reg is.
G60,Yeah the guy who owns it has a garage full of nice cars, just bought himself a old 911 supersport or something, amazing condition, been rebuilt, the guy he got it off is somepowerboat racer, and the pics of his garage made me cry, like a proper show room! All glass slidding doors and carpet on the floor.
Its an Edition Blue G60, lhd, dark blue, looks black, blue leather interrior, blue tint on the lacqer of the 15"bbs splitrims, its not amazingly quick but i like it, just trying to clear my garage off all the bits ive built up to get some dosh for it, have like 3 nitrous kits knocking about plus loads of other random bits from cars ive had over the years.
96' e39 540i, 230k miles, should i even consider buying it??

An Edition 1...? Nice.
G60's are a great car. Make sure the 'charger is in top condition. They're a bit pricey when it comes to re-builds.
I'd sell everything (car-wise) I have to own a nice, original G60.
My mate just sold his VW Motorsport G60 16v Syncro for about £12,000!!! 16v motorsports are very rare. (and I'm allowed to use the word 'rare' in its right context here!)

found someplace to do the rebuild for 400 quid, if the casings ok that is.
