Finding a decent one is hard work.
What engine are you looking for?
Tell me about it! Most are battered shitters now.
2.5 or 3.0, only do local miles so fuel consumption isn't a problem.

I don't do a lot of miles, mines averaging 19.6mpg at the minute.
Also after a week of owning the car, I've noticed it sometimes tramlines, there's no play in anything whatsoever, I will take it to my mates at get it 4 wheel aligned properly and see what it's like after, the tyres are wearing uneven so it could be down the that.
Also I could do with a detailing guru to tell me what are reasonably priced products.

14mpg average from my E39, which is great considering I pay 48p per litre for fuel

I absolutely loved my e39, such a solid and comfortable car to drive, a real pleasure on a long cruise. Being totally honest here (modern gizmos aside) i think i'd prefer it to the modern euro box wagon i drive now. BMW got it just right with the e39 in my view.

The boot on a 3 series is not big enough if you have two little kids. It requires a step up to the 5's.

E39 are solid cars, everyone round my ends have flogged their E46 330s and M3s for E39 530s and M5s.

That's just a waste as your neighbourhood has good size garages Jim.
They built 400 decent sized houses in my town on a former RAF base recently, which was a nice surprise as they normally build tiny flats usually

It's expensive round here

them rich folks from London are inflating our housing market
Ain't getting no house here for less than 300k... snoop through the site
Diable's should invest here as his polish brethren pay an average of £1200 pm rent here for a 3 bed house

Yes, but £1200 pm between 12 isn't too bad....

http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/detail ... J5zrhDB.97
same thing in lincolnshire would cost you double
there was a 3 be semi with 3/4 acre, barn, workshop car port etc for sale a few months ago for £75K & folk said that was expensive

I've just bought another property as an investment and to help the missus onto the property ladder. Bought it off plan, completion in 3 years tops. Will decide what to do with it from there. This is what £275k got me:

The Jersey property market is madness. Almost as bad as London.
Saying that, one of the funds the company I work for administers is for property in Grosvenor Square. How does £6,500 per square foot grab you
