You are joking, the B10 would put this thing in the weeds.
TBH, there is little in it, the E39 is lighter.
My money would be on the E34, there both around 1600KG.

Rav, is that your Pink Ka in the first pic? :squint: :gay: :)

The B10 is pushing 1700kg with the electric leather seats, air con and that. Its fat boy spec.

E39's are lighter due to their increased use of aluminum in construction, E60's even more so.

I've only ever had one E39, a 1998 528i manual in Biarritz blue back in 2004. That had Alpina spoilers, BBS split rims, black leather and other stuff that I can't recall.

R220DCV was the reg - I bought it for £1800 at auction, swapped the splitties for spoons and served it again for a couple of grand. It went to Eastern Europe iirc.

I hope you replaced the torque converter solenoid - that's the bit that actually goes wrong, not the oil.

when ones gone the others not far behind. This is a well known problem that is now addressed with a tougher gasket i believe from alpina. OE is some paper sh!te that is now replaced by a steel gasket?! iirc
