Haha mines on ebay finishing in 3 hours.
Highlines (like mine) can be more desirable.
Obviously everyone would like a manual but they are much rarer and therefore much dearer.
Also the auto box on these cars are smooth and a great drive.
As above, rust in the wings is the major issue (inner and outer wings). Also the subframes can snap at the steering box joint. Suspension components need replacing every 4-5 years depending on use. Other than that, one that has been properly looked after, well serviced etc is what you want.

i wouldnt say fooked but as i said earlier there are loads of these that are wrapped in cotton wool polished and kept as intended which i love
but theres are a hell of a lot more that are just rooting away, so i figure taking one and making it into something a little different that will get properly used is a much better fate

they were the later versions, lots of leather inc dash center consol, updated trim, bumpers, shadowline trim, etc etc just a more modern version of the original
also ive been told by a respected bmw specialist that the highlines were also built better wether it was materials or manufacturing processes i dont know didnt get to much detail, tbh it wouldve been easier to buy a pre-highline as they are a lot cheaper but i took the info i was given and bought the highline
