E36 or e34 325 inlets I have been told are the only ones that flow! The others have restricted (smaller) ports

BTW mines m52 going into 316 touring!

Correct, as the M52 has a restrictive inlet manifold, M50 on opens it up.

M50B25 is the only inlet to use, from an E34 or an E36

what throttle body do you use with these? seem to remember there being an issue with the 325 throttle body which meant it wont go on the M52 so you had to have the M52 body bored out. was a couple of years ago now though but im thinking of getting a 328 as a daily so any info would be useful.
No longer self employed but still available for welding duties.

Leave the M50 throttle on as its a better fit, the only non straight forward bit is plumbing in the oil separator but its not an essential piece anyway. This is the best solution ive seen so far if you want to keep the separator

if your doing this on an e36 with traction you can't use the M50 throttle body from my experience.

My e36 has no Traction which does make it easier!

They're only being picked on 'cause the "Young ones" don't understand a Real Engine, they like al this Plastic crap of "Today"
i'd hardly call my self young rav, i just know that the m52 b28 with the m50 inlet is lighter, more powerful and more economical than an m30b35

that one piece silicone hose looks like a decent bit of kit. I bet it'll be fairly pricey though when he puts a price up!
