Anyone whose see this car in the flesh will agree, it's a stunner. Can't wait for the engine bay to be titivated so hurry up Kosman!

Shame Kos was too tight to tax it again so it could be parked next to my chariot at Vines a couple of weeks ago

The Cossie's fine, got some orange lenses for it, but being second hand the finish has gone abit a bit flat/dull on them if that makes sense, so need some proper fresh, fresh ones....Tried doing what you did to your rear lights but still look manky...!

The silver W124 Cab has gone into paint now, soon to return with the full AMG tratment, like Jazz's !

Also got me some new wheels for the E30... They are going to be something different again... Never done on a E30... as far as I know Iv got the only set ever made in 4X100 fitment..! Discontinued now so cant be immitated...Were only 'made to order' back in the day....

All in all, been almost as busy as you...!

Hows the M3 ?? I want to see that beauty finished !!!

i'll probably do a few bits and peices to it over the winter. when its clean its ok, but as you full well know it does need some things sorting.

as for the CC Joy day at Vines, well i just spen too much cash on the compact, hano time to MOT the e24, and paying tax for a car that wont be driven over the winter is just pointless......

the again, when you have days like today it would be nice to ake out for a drive and enjoy it

they are e24/e28 fitment
7J et13 and 8J et24 x 16"
tyres are 205 55 front and 225 50 rear, some people run 225 50 front and 245 45 rear but the 245 45 16's are a odd size and expensive

Yeah i think iv mentioned them too you before...

This particular set I have, is abit of a cult set in Dub circles, they have been passed through a few dubbers hands (3 or 4), & have been featured in Performance VW 3 times all in different projects, including one front cover !

Hoping they work well on the e30 for me...

Your M3 will be stunning from what I have seen from that thread you had running on that other forum. You should put up a thread for the M3 on this forum to show the peeps all the hard work thats been going into it.... winkeye

I like the fact it's a chrome car. Highlines do nothing for me TBO. I wouldn't say no to a nice one mind, but the earlier chrome e28 based cars are the ones IMO.

Stunning, lovely restoration job. I've always had a soft spot for these. Wish I had that sort of talent.

i've got a 4 spoker on it now that came from Mr13's 2 door C2. it cleaned up a treat

thanks for all the positive comments. i was debating about taking it out for a run today to brooklands but decided against it, which was good call. i didn't fancy parking it in mud

i'm looking to freshen up the suspension so a mild drop may be on the cards.

i dont mind the highlines, a friend has an equally immaculate Negaro one with black leather it looks spot on especially as it's de chromed

opps sorry Kos you have done a lovely job on your dads car?
Most dads just see their sons as walking donor parts, yours sees a car restorer as well.

Hats off to you Kos, that's a stunning turd ! Red with black FTW ! :D

I was once an executive :( I bought this in 1993, spent the next 2 years retrofitting A/C and general paedoing then shipped it to sunny Perth WA in 1995 where it spent the next 14 years festering in my parents nice dry garage.

Finally I got my act together and went out there in late '08 and got it sorted and served to a nice man in Queensland.

A nice 6 is a rare thing nowadays and at last the prices are firming, now that people realise just how much it costs to refurbish the average ebay pig
