725tds manual with cloth and Deutch Council treatment. How uttery nasty is that? I have £500 for it here though. 143 bhp M51 wouldn't pull your foreskin back in an E38.
V8's were available as manuals in Europe, 6 speed 740i etc.
The blue 728i here is way too expensive but it is nice. It's an M52TU which was a double vanos unit - 2001 728i motors were practically M54's.

Early E65's are down to 8 grand now which makes a pricey late E38 look a bit expensive.
