Does look smart with the alpinas on. A 6 series is one of the few cars I'd seriously consider swapping my car for

I wouldn't bother, i've been giving my Touring a coat of looking at frequantly for two years, and it seems to degrade the condition rapidlyspook wrote:Luckily i have a welding person turning up tomorrow to give the turd a coat of looking at.![]()

Right here we go, part of the outer cill made up and shes in, will of course be trimmed/cleaned up.
Managed to cut floor pan back a little and weld a lip section to take the outer cill. you cannot see this in the pics.

Nice repair to the lower front cill section

Cut out and ready for more fabricating

More welding tomorrow

Lots more pics, every bit of rust has now been cut out and replaced, i am confident we now have a rust free shell. the welding guy and i have crawled all over the car and cant find any more Brown stuff. All the panels are spot on,all inner wings, etc are free of it.

All i have to now is paint, waxoil, slap some fertan on and put the thing back together and run it up for an MOT

Thanks for the comments, I was gonna waxoyl with the starter kit but after doing
Some research on the net it seems the kit is crap, what do we think using Dinitrol
Cavity wax.
It's for the inner cills.
