I reckon in time that getting an early snotter B10 4.6 e39 could donate its engine in time!

That 52,000 black car looks the tits its very similar spec to my bi turbo. Too nice for me that needs a garage. Pony all V8 e34s are wide grill cars

The drifters and kit car builders have hammering the numbers now as they get broken up, plus the nobbas who bodge them into e30's
Those are a set of A cups mate these are a set of DOUBLE Ds

I prefer the BMW E39 5 Series FACELIFT over E60 looks wise

Though for £6k give me a BMW E32 750iL over any E34/E39 540i Touring/Saloon Manual/Auto so I can cruise around like an East End bad man Phil Mitchell :-)

3 Owner 50k mile E32 750iL with ZERO rust and ALL ORIGINAL paintwork
£6k
And has LSD :-)

is the heated electric buffalo leather recaros not good enough over those manual non heated standard sport seats? Pony you must be p!ssed.

For a start its got that nasty SRS airbag wheel that cooking e36's had!

Those run out M5's had sh!t spec, no door blinds, sunroof, cruise, pikey air con, no heated seats. I'll stick with the B10 that got all of that :)

The LE had sunroof and electric front seats.

I quite like the steering wheel looks brilliant and way better than the usual E34 ones
The AC on E34s is ice cold my uncle had 1995 N Reg 525i and the AC was colder than E46
Not sure about heated seats / electric blind maybe that was an option ?
Don't need cruise control prefer driving
Anyway one word CHAMPAGNE leather .... 8)

PS Those recaros do look and are quite comfortable though :-)

Pikey A/C as in manual, not climate control.

The E36 steering wheel is shite!

As with my fruited E320 shooting break :) The E34 pikey A/C is a much better more controllable system than the extra cost auto climate system . The later E34 airbag wheel is a bit grim , but not as grim as the earlier four spoke air bag bad boy which Simons , and most later Bi Turbos were originally supplied with :(

Looks like around a £1000 job to replace, thanks for the heads up other than the smell of fuel any other ways to check the condition of the fuel tank, is it easy to get a good visual check of the tank?

Torch and a ramp is best.

Or at least take a trolly jack with.

It's enough to write off your average E38.

£1000 that would be better spent on a LPG conversion!

Not only rust, they also crack due to flexing. The only ones that last are those that have big dents in them :)
