It seems a few zoners are losing interest in the E30, hence the E36,E28, and E24 sickness thats going about

There used to be a few on that forum with loads of good info and properly modified cars, this was probably about 5 years ago now, they dont post anymore, most of whats going on nowadays is secret or useless and all you see is playground bitching as per simons £500 car thread, ass kissing, back tracking and plenty of thread locking it seems.
Nice pina inlet Matt!

I've just joined the e36 shooting brake club. It's a manual 1998 328i SE in AVUS blue with lots of m sport kit from the factory. A few bits need tidying, but for 450 notes who's complaining...?!?
The car has cream/grey sports leather, any tips on getting it clean? I've tried autogleam leather clean with a soft cloth, but it doesn't seem to work deep enough.
Also, the central locking is a little mental. The drivers door locks/unlocks that door and the tailgate only. The passenger door works that door, the drivers door and the tailgate. The tailgate works only the tailgate and the drivers door. Any clues?
I've now got three 'shooting brake' type beemers, an M Coupe, an e30 320i touring and now this e36 328i SE. Unfortunately I think I may have to sell the e30 when I move house next month
Ta,
Paul

It does now that it has been cleaned. The colour is a little lighter than my lazer blue e30 touring. Will post a pic or two once I've put new fogs on, not much left of the originals, and change the drivers wing mirror from the green one that is currently on itschnaarf wrote:Avus blue is a great colour. I'm having trouble finding fern green bits for mine. Apparently fern green is an e46 colour and only available on late 36s. I need a left hand front door and tailgate. Both for a touring..
