Andy - for your info that'll definately not be at home anywhere in the UK nevermind Rotherham, the rear plate should give you a hint.Andyboy wrote:That probably looks at home cruising around Rotherham.DanThe wrote:I quite like this, a little bit OTT maybe, but different at least and on such a prestige marque how can you go wrong![]()

One that came direct from the BMW factory with the options already supplied by Alpina
OK it's not an E38, but still a capable non speed limited E39

How many genuine E34 B10 BiTurbos have you had Pete - is it 2 or 3 now?
For my part I've only ever had two real Alpinas - such is life I guess.

However i'm still waiting for the members that did the most cussing on here to show some pics. So far i've just seen one peice of 'shite' which is supposedly theirs.

I'll repeat 'had' is not 'have got'.Andyboy wrote:How many genuine E34 B10 BiTurbos have you had Pete - is it 2 or 3 now?

What happened? could you not afford to run them or maintain them anymore? petrol prices getting to high for you to keep them?
As we said, we have still got ours, had it for 2 years, not thinking of selling despite fuel and insurance prices going up, not got it on a classic car policy, all mods declared.
Fair enough it is not a genuine Alpina but then I didn't buy a v12 just for it to sit on the "DRIVE" to look good because I couldn't afford to actually use it. It gets used daily for local mileage and the long journey when we need to. Everything works and before anybody objects, my opinion is, I am entitled to it and it is our car, that it does look good.
So the question once again, Andy and Pete, is what have you 'CURRENTLY GOT' other than your E30's, we've seen one peice of 'shite' from Dan which he apparently uses on the weekend presumably in his high class, non council estate, so don't be shy and lets see them.

From what Info I've gathered the 3.2l ones were manual. It's the 3.3l and v8's which were mostly switchtronic(from 99 onwards).
BTW
I only picked it up yesterday.

That council touring is going off the road for a little remedial bit of bodywork and a further brake upgrade, hence the new "daily driver".

It all depends on whether or not the tourer is presentable.
Either way It'll give Pete something to rip the pi55 out off.

Dave, your E39 is much too subtle and tasteful for my attention, I am sure I will be otherwise occupied over at the 7 series register marvelling at the variety of £25 Irish plates / ink/sportswear and tasteful ebay styling touches
