Nice pic! Will they be done for dangerous driving? I think NOT!

It used to be that Pugs were useless french tin cans and BMW's were German Hard as nails motors...
Rather worryin how mangled the cop car is compared to the pug!

I see a Pug driver pulling out of a parking space in front of a police car without looking.

i see cop car speeding down the tight road ... 999 call? and smacking the Pug as it either
A, didn't move over enough
B, came from a side road
or
C, the driver of the Pug was the one being chased
looks like BMW designed there crumple zones better than Puggit
give it a couple of weeks and they'll both be on ebay "one careful owner"

Going by the extent of the damage on the squad car, I'd hazard a guess that the Pug driver is deaf too (or the Feds were speeding without having the sirens/blues going).smithy318i wrote:I see a Pug driver pulling out of a parking space in front of a police car without looking.

I see they have put speed humps on the road to 'increase safety' only for the old bill to come along and try to T bone someone minding their own business

My comments were more in annoyance at the childish readiness to have a dig at the coppers.OBs wrote:Oops!

Clearly, Plod shouldn't have been going so fast down a road with speed humps. Had they have been observing the speed limit and borne in mind the likelihood of other motorists maneouvering in the urban surroundings, the accident would most likely have been avoided.
Why is tax-payers money being wasted to have them flying about crashing BMWs anyway? Surely an Allegro 1.1HL would suffice.

I think the Peugeot driver was reversing into the space! (Sorry no ones said that option)
Besides the pug will be a Diesel and would take more then 5 seconds to pull out of that space, giving the speeding plod car enough time to swerve into that open bit of road / no pavement side of the two way road avoiding any children that they will naturally be looking out for in a residentual area etc etc...

Come to think of it....maybe he was getting a BJ from his passenger while skinning up(and driving) hence none of them saw the Pigeon pulling out?StuBeeDoo wrote:eko wrote:I reckon the `plod` who was driving was skinning up at the time
Wouldn't be the first time........

The damaged side of the Pug is out of sight (on it's left side I think). Having said that though, the e39 BMW is hit in an area of the body designed to readily collapse, while the Pug (like the BM) may have been hit in the lower hoops of the A pillar and B pillar which are very much harder to penetrate as they form key protective parts of the passenger cabin.dobbie82 wrote:Rather worryin how mangled the cop car is compared to the pug!

TBH, it looks like a very low speed impact. 25 to 30 is my guess.dobbie82 wrote:Rather worryin how mangled the cop car is compared to the pug!

I think a dragon swooped in, snatched a small child, causing the copper to swerve lightly and have a swipe at it with his light sabre. The pug driver was actually praying to Mecca at the time and knocked the hand brake off. It would have been ok except for the poltergeists who turned the wheel and pushed the pug into the coppers path.
