Still haven't sold the M3 touring yet!

I sold the Tii as I wanted to modify something and it was too good/rare to start messing about with. :)

Don't suppose you have a cam suitable for a 2.7 conversion knocking about ? Like the original Alpina one, was it 264 or maybe 272 ?

What about building a rhd e30 M3 lookalike with a 6 cyl in it ? Just a thought ! Or my mate down here has a square tail light tii I think he needs to unload, a partial runner with loys of bits, like brand new bumpers etc.

Possibly better off picking up a non running m3 and putting a 6 pot in it.

TBH unless you're going s50 or turbo charged, you'll be better off tweaking the s14

No 2.7 bits i'm afraid. not sure where your coming from with RHD M3 thing. I've built an S50 Touring and did think about sticking an M20 6 into the tii but as I said it was too good to mod. I think its pretty straightforward but affects the handling a bit with the extra weight at the front.

As for the offer on the square light tii I'll have to pass. I'm havin a break from the engine transplant scene for a while but I'm sure I'll be back when funds allow!

I can see why you might want a break after the 332i !!

My thinking on the RHD M3 is just that I personally don't like left hookers and I also would rather sit behind a small pot six in an e30 and sacrifice a little handling any day rather than have the 4 cylinder original - I am not a purist on these things - I can see by your conversions that you are not either.

6 cyl in a 2002 would be nice, but would it not need power steering, and that is really hard to achieve, how would you fit a rack to it, out of an e21 maybe ?

Best
