edit: Second thoughts on the convertible. Might be sold there.
how can they be photoshoped when later on in the post someone posted up another picture of one, where the photo had been taken in a street.

The only genuine photo out of that lot is the side on one of the cabriolet m5.

The rest are photoshoped, which is plainly obvious.

The m 8 pictures are real of course.

I'm not going to try hard to defend why I think they are photoshopped other than to say I've been in the graphics business a long time. I've used various iterations of Adobes Photoshop since 1994. I know exactly what I am talking about when it comes to things photoshopped, and, authentication of a given image.

I'm also not suggesting the idea of an e34 coupe is good or bad whether photoshopped or not though so don't be thinking that. Here to relax and have a little fun now and then only (as a rule).

See your point on the 'fine beast', the door pillars do not line up!!

I like the 2 door... its not a coupe though. Roof line isnt lower, much like 2 door e30's.

It would need to be pillarless to compete with the 300ce too imo.

e24, e31 and new 6 series are the only true coupes bmw has made in the last 20 years

e36, e46 and e60 dont count imo as they are based on 4 door saloons, the range is is mixed with tourings etc

the vault in munich has some interesting toys, e39 M5 v8 powered x5, x5 with maclaren F1 engine, the M8 , factory built s50 powered compact and probably more 8O

the abooive mentioned ones have been seen in public, its what we dont know about that interest me

the "myth" about the RHD e30 M3 and white sport evos interests me

recently heard that Vodtec recent had a white sport evo, they were apparently built for the works drivers at the time and had 265 bhp, 4 were made.

RHD m3's , one was built for sultan of brunai, and one for director of BMW in australia ( at the time LHD cars were not able to be registered over there)

there are a few people i belive who couild possibly shed some light on this subject................... i await there input

Hate to say it, but the white Evo as you describe it is indeed a historical myth in `normal retail' terms.

Alan Minshaw, my old boss at Tweeks had a genuine right hand drive E30 M3 touring car which he had quite a bit of success with in the late eighties, well he told me it was a genuine right hand drive car purchased directly from BMW Motorsport.

a RHD motorsport shell for racing is one thing, a RHD factory m3 is something else, let alone the white sport evos' which were LHD and apartenly made for the works drivers, mr cecotto, ravaglia etc
