What do people think of the e46 compacts, in particular the 325ti ?

Quick, and a nice drive. Interior not quite up to the standards of a saloon or coupe e46 but still very nice.
The sports also look great imo.

My dad had a compact 320td and i liked that but ive not driven the 2.5, just wondered how they handle coz the diesal my dad had, had a very soft suspension with it being an se version.

I rate E46 sports highly in handling terms. My dad has got a 330d sport and that is really nice and tight without being harsh.
The compacts are smaller and more 'chuckable'
