Go for a proper remap. Your car doesn't have a chip like E30's do, everything is stored on the ECU as a file.

speak to CA automotive. the guy who owns the company, jason gibson, has his M3 sent to our place all the time for servicing and stuff, i've worked on it alot. his M3 has got a mad chip in there!!!

you're right though, i think it is roy that owns it, but Jason has a huge part to play in it

Whoever you get to do it, make sure they dont raise the rev limit too much, This is the only real killer of this engine.
