Hi guys

I don't often post on her cos my brother in law simon13 normally takes charge for me! But my question is not about my sport anyway. M

y boss had an 840ci (V8) and it just failed an MOT cos it needs a whole new exhaust sytem (including CAT).

Does anyone know of a good supplier of exhausts systems for this car?

Hope someone can help?!

Thanks

Rob

I've had one of these for 3yrs now, & the 1st thing i did was get rid of the exhaust.! nothing too wrong with it but sooooooo quite, i got a Supersprint system for around £700 Cats are around £400--£800 for the performance cats :D .

Why not get a exhaust shop to fabricate a one off.

I thinks its his sunday car so it not too concerned about having the sportiest cats. I think he wants something that is recommended but not rediculously expensive (as it only gets driven in the summer)!
Lucky for some I know!! ;)

I think he tried Topgear in Basingstoke and they fit Powerflow Exhausts which are custom made stainless im told!

Any ideas where he can pick up ctas at a reasonable price?

Cheers guys

They build OEM TVR exhausts so they ought to be pretty good :) I've not used them though so I cant advise.

i have no experience of them, but quicksilver fabricate one-off systems etc in your choice of material etc etc.

worth looking out for their website I guess.

Maybe also worth asking on BMWCC, but i think you may have to pay a fee to join

If you don't want to spend out on standard stuff, you could try speaking to PTE (Premier Tyres & Exhausts) in Bedford, as they have links with Ashley Racing who do custom one off's for sensible money from what i gather!!
Speak to Dave or Jaz and i'm sure they'll try and help you out!!

Haven't used them yet but i'm going to be getting the rear boxes replaced on my 850CSi by them soon - much cheaper than dealer prices winkeye
