Thank you for posting this great video.
Now, I'm new here (this time round) so don't want to be a party pooper, but...
I have a couple of questions in case I missed some things:
1) Just how brutal they were with this car? Is that normal? Just smacking a big screwdriver in to peel 50-year old ally off the frame? Dropping the pointy hood onto the nose? Slicing the fronts of the wings off? Dipping without burning-off the paint?
2) Did Elvis want the red everywhere? Did we just watch the removal of every trace of Elvis influence on this car or was that subsequent owners? Even the shape of the seat upholstery was changed. (I did spot the bases of the door jambs but that's not much...)
They have created a very nice brand new 507 but (it seems) we have lost a huge lump of modern history.
I hope no-one does this to Stirling Moss's car.

Saw one a few years back being driven in Holland Park towards Notting Hill, I let the guy out when in my lowly E30, wonder how many left in the world as I believe only 252 where made and it nearly bankrupted BMW.
