Had 2 X E30 325i touring, 3 ltr E36 M3 then an 3.2 Evo convertible. Built a few other cars, Honda S2000 powered Sunbeam, Cosworth powered Mk2 escort van, then a Cosworth powered RWD focus. So had a few nice track toys.
Been out in a few E46 M3's and fancied one and was looking at a few, but wanted a low mileage car, with all the right bits.
I did read on here a few negitive quotes about a certain E46 powered compact that was for sale for ever on eBay and I went to buy it over two years ago but the fella would not sell it for the money I offered
The car had over 20k spent on it, and drive like it was new. Roll on January this year and had a message from the owner if my offer was still availible I could buy the car.
Since the last time I looked at the car, he had bought new 20" split rims, with new tyres, serviced the car, quick shift, Mandral bent stainless decat exhaust system, Shrick cams, and remap.
BC2 coilovers, adj rear beam, K&N Induction. 4.1 Quaife diff 4.1 CWP.
So in the few months since owning it I have put the 18" Rota's back on and used it on track a few times. It drives like its on rails. Since using it on track I have now serviced it and had to fit a new clutch and dual mass. (This will do for now) It sounds unreal and not like an M3

Bet it goes well!

Did I meet you at the retro evening at Brands back in June, I'm Terry's mate with the grey e30 if so.
