She starts up and runs fine but try and put it under load and it chugs just like a miss-fire.
No water loss and oil ok, temperature fine as well.
I took no1 lead off and clear water came out , not a great deal but it was there. I dried it off quickly and it still ran the same.
Any ideas please?

I sold you a ccv and sent a few other bits from my troublesome m44 a while back, i went through the leads on mine too. You can check their resistance before swapping as they may be OK. I found the resistance value online, and firstly changed 1 lead , then i fitted a new set - it made no difference!
another thing to check might be a loose CAT in your exhaust, mine broke of and would restrict the car to 40mph
also worth cleaning the idle valve as this used to give me issues, did i sent you mine?

Hi mate, Thanks for the reply.
I took a punt and bought a second hand coil pack and set of leads (£30) and popped them on last night and all seems to be well.
