Looking at an immaculate e28 528i auto

yes i know a 535i would be better but the car prices and condition of them out here are a joke (ecpecially e30s they are overpriced scrap with so much filler ) and this e28 is in very good nick for not alot of money

The only problem is the bonnet cable is broke.

What do i need to look out for with these, anything specific.

Fuel prices do not bother me i get a company fuel card :)

Its in a light metalic green with beige/black dash

And its unmolested, the paperwork has been in the same name since 1983 so low owner too

Thats an E12 mate. :)

Although E12 production continued in SA after it did in the rest of the world but they had E28 dashes and interiors weirdly!

how much is that e12 ? I grew up in Benoni and used to see a lot there , now i'm here UK and can't get one, or they simply go for crazy prices . Buying and importing here would be bonkers me thinks :{

Its cheap in terms of sa money £1300 uk money old 5 and 7 series are cheap but e30s are stupid money, and all been through a township at some stage and fooked

I see loads of old stuff daily, outside work today alone was a 1970s volvo, a 1978 audi 100 and an old 70's toyota corolla in immaculate condition. Got to love the old cars you see on the roads here

It will be alot cheaper than bringing a uk car to sa, Jacob zuma wants his cut

PS ive only been here 3 month now from the uk,

:D
