Team Dynamics Pro-Race 1s or something else in their range I would have thought. I researched light-weight wheels a few years ago and they came out the lightest I could find for sensible money.

Thanks for the tip - but looking at standard bmw stuff to keep the cost down.

Was thinking of a set from a e34 Johnno.

These look OK as well, god knows what the quality or weight is like though... That's if you don't like the Firebird wheels

How about some turbines like Jhonno has fitted in his picture? They are meant to be very light. Pricey though.

Those firebird wheels

If its a compact then I dont know how well those BBS's will fit because they are a low ET.

Do the regulation limit offset or is it free? Might be worth checking before .you shell out on wheels

No reference made to offsets, so would be a bonus widening the track a little with a lower et.

Just stipulates wheels must 7 or 7.5x15.

the bmwfans parts catalogue lists weights.

not sure how accurate they are.

from a quick look at the e36 rims the 10spoke 'sport' spoke wheels are lightest at 7.52kg, followed by the e36 fine lattice bbs at 7.55, and bottletops at 7.62, several others are pretty similar weight wise.

e30 m3 7x15 et30 are 7.26kg, and can sometimes be found for a decent price.

e34 7x15 et20 BBS are 7.4kg, and they list a forged multispoke e34 rim as 6.65kg, but i don't think i've ever seen a set
