Your posts and attempted insults are not worth retaliating against besides your doing a good enough job at making a tit out yourself anyway I don't have to try

And for the "stuck" record I don't need people to side with me or give there approval I'm perfectly confident with my own approval thanks obviously where we differ.
I'm actually getting bored of toying with you trimmer boy, its like arguing with my 4 year old son when he doesn't want to go to bed.

You made yourself out to captain BS long ago so just run with it, its too late to go back now.

come on guys, i only wanted peoples opinions, pros and cons of having a e36 touring Vs e46 touring.

im sure people have had good and bad experiences with both. i would be spending a max of £1500, so just wanted views on which would be the better buy with my budget.

you'd get a peach of a 328i e36. A guy i know just bought before crimbo for £1350

a silver one with the posh black leather with leather stitched door cars! uber rare, PDC, 92k manual. upgraded sound sytem (factory 10 speakers job) dog guard and just 2 owners with a wadge of history, and a tailgate that wasn't rusted out like they all do now!

Getting hard to find now but they are out there and a much better idea than a tatty e46 imo. The e36 is alot more DIY friendly as in not so much of ECU's chatting to each other and coding required everytime you swap a part

Poor OP, he's probably gone out and bought a Peugeot now. Yet another zoner who was just after a bit of advice and will probably be reluctant to ask anything again for fear of causing WW3!

As i said before mate, set your budget, stick to it and go for the best car that comes up. As previously mentioned, a real cracking example of either of these cars will be a pleasure to own.

As I’ve said before chaps I never launch a personal attack on anyone unless provoked, to be honest once I’m under fire I couldn't care less what or who I involve in the argument.

Besides I never said anything derogatory about his son far from it I simply said I feel sorry for him which is true, the guys a bell end and hopefully his kid will grow up to be a better human being than he is, and not feel the need to prove his worth like BSS does.

If he wants to get his kicks being an keyboard warrior on internet forums then I’m more than happy to play along and help him look like a tit, and if its true that apparently everyone thinks I’m full of shit then I’m not the one loosening face getting involved in stupid arguments like this.

Back on topic all this abuse started when I was simply putting my view across that due to all the issues I have seen and heard about with E46's I would rather have an E36 for the budget that the OP has. But because I had not removed an E46 dash I ma apparently not worthy to comment on such a thread!

Dezzy knows the score getting involved in an argument with me is the biggest waste of your time you could possibly ever do, nothing anyone says has even the slightest effect on me and an can carry on till I’m blue in the face, argue with me at your own risk, most people who do end up looking just as much as a bell end as people accuse me of being.

Case in point BSS

yeah not the fastests brick around the 2.0l. you need the 2.5 20v 170bhp or 225bhp t5 winkeye .

cheap old cars to buy and go on forever. obviously its not a bmw so thats why i was going to upgrade to a e36touring/e46touring in the summer :)

Just looked on real OEM and think we are talking about number 13 on this link...........

http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mod ... g=51&fg=60

If so defo part of the load cover, I have a feeling you can move the load cover cassette from where its normally kept to the rear foot well and create a barrier from the rear load space to the front compartment when all seats are flat.

if you look up to the headliner in the rear there are two clips where it can lock in to place on the roof

thats all a bit of a guess by the way going to try it in the morning

Bringing anyone other than the OP or their car into it is 1, out of order and 2, shows that you are trying to have a dig by any means possible.

You have proved yourself to be the key board warrior by stating that you "can and will go on and on" and by dragging my family into a debate which in turn has made yourself look even more a knob.

You were already considered to be a complete wa nker that habitually posts crap and this thread has just fortified that general opinion of you.
pac1982 wrote:Back on topic all this abuse started when I was simply putting my view across that due to all the issues I have seen and heard about with E46's I would rather have an E36 for the budget that the OP has. No, this all stemmed from when you made inaccurate statements like e46 subframes cracking being a common problem and E46 overall quality being worse overall than E36 actually.

Obviously you will get a better E36 for the same money but that's not the point you made earlier on, instead coming out with that other shit which is just that, shit!

You can say its your view/opinion till the cows come home but the fact of the matter is its crap and not true.

You have little to no evidence or experience to back up you theories and you just had to lash out when i put you straight on your crap.

So what you're saying is by acting like a bell and drawing someone into a long drawn out argument also makes them look like a bell?

Your forgetting one key point here you started on the insults before me I was just defending my corner, i believe your first dig was saying.......
bss325i wrote:You've changed you tune now that you own an E36! Its not that long ago when you owned an E30 that E36's were shite!
To which I replied nicely, you then went on to take a dig at my spelling (which i must say is rather rich coming from you!).........
bss325i wrote:Common.
Again I gave a perfectly reasonable response with no abuse at all, you carried on your abuse by telling my I have no place to talk about build quality because I had never completely gutted and refitted the interior of an E46.........
bss325i wrote:Sorry pac, fitting a few seat trim kits doesn't give a valid opinion on the overall quality of the E46 model including the sub frame issue.
Have you ever completely gutted and refitted an E46 interior?
This was followed by your decision that because i had not removed a dashboard i was not worthy of commenting.......
bss325i wrote:
Removing the seats and door cards (about 15 min work) is not gutting a whole interior. I'm talking every single part down to the last clip, screw and grommet.

If you haven't then to don't know how an E46 interior is put together and your opinion isn't good enough to be a judge of weather its any good.

You haven't even removed a dash.
This is all relatively mild but you then start getting even more abusive and, note at this point i have still been biting my tongue......
bss325i wrote:
Ok, ill say it how it is.

This forum is full of people that are so full of themselves and talk shit without any real experience to back it up.

you are among the ones that are full of shit.
Another one from you.....

Another...........
bss325i wrote:Pac you just make yourself look evermore the dick that you are.
Then up crops the big man threat, which really really scared me.....
bss325i wrote:Just hoep our paths dont ever cross you f*cking mouthy prick pac.
And lets leave your most recent additions because your clearly taking this to heart, i’ve been kind to you here and not included all of your abuse, the only derogatory things I said to you in this whole argument was to call you a grease monkey and say I felt sorry for your son.

So after looking at all that whos really at fault? You for getting all shirty about a few comments i made.

Oh and in regards to your last statement about me fu#king off and no body likes me, i really don’t care I use this forum for research and entertainment not to make up for a lake of friends in the real world like you clearly do.

And just for good measure..........

Yes cracking sub frames on the E46 is a very common problem, you’ve seen them i’ve seen them other members have seen them prove me wrong
