The most previous owners?
Moderator: martauto
Hi Guys,
Most E30's nowadays are between 20 -25 years old, So in theory some recent purchases must have travelled through a fair few owners.
I am quite intrested to know how many people's e30's have had a high number of previous owners and where in a decent state (no major problems) when purchased. Also the year model.
I only noticed this evening that mine had a whoping 11, my heart nearly popped out my mouth.
Thanks

I have a 98 saab cab in stock with 21 on it, but my tourings only had 2.
When a hammer is your only tool, every problem becomes a nail.
cabbies generally have a high turnover because people realise once they own them they can never have the top down due to the shyte weather we have in the UK....
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
Ah so I'm not alone.
I called Bmw and tried to find out about the cars history, It was taken to bmw twice - 1998, 1999. I am still awaiting info on what was done.

Yeah, I couldn't find a saloon, but the car is to be exported to Aus in November so I'll get loads of topless actioncabbies generally have a high turnover because people realise once they own them they can never have the top down due to the shyte weather we have in the UK....

What was the condition of the car when you recieved ? - haven't seen a bronziet beige cab for somtime, looks great mate.
I bought my red 325i se in 2006, from the 1st owner from new @£800 from a landrover (trade in). only after I pranged it and looked for another did I realise how lucky I'd been.
I recently read that the Cabriolets where actually built in the 5 series plant instead of the e30's. the plant used a superior rustfroofing technique and there for the cabs are significantly less prone to rust.

As with most things in life the quality is of more importance than the quantity. In the case of the original posters sorry turd, it had had loads and most were tight fisted vermin
and yes the car is scrap.
I took great pleasure "assessing" the rust!
