Hi,

I am considering a kit for my X5.

Can anyone tell me whether this is worth doing?

The X5 is a twin turbocharged 3.0d Sport.

Thanks.

Remap would be my first port of call to maximise performance.

Also the X5 diesel doesn't sound like the usual diesels...doesn't even sound like a diesel to be honest!

I wouldn't... Get it chipped instead. Now THAT would actually be worth doing.

Yep I think the first is to chip or remap...tbh the X5 is very adequate and doesn't need any mods. I have other cars for speed and fun. Just bored with the X5 and thinking of something to do to it.
